I am a mother to four boys who I love dearly, two of which have special needs. I am also a qualified midwife and have been since 2004.

 

I have studied photography through TAFE and multiple other courses and workshops. I am fully vaccinated and hold my working with children clearance check.

 

I am a fully accredited member of the AIPP and have won many awards for my photography work including being a finalist for the NSW AIPP Newborn Photographer of the Year.

 

I love to create art that you will hang on your walls for years to come and remember those moments for the rest of your life.

What does my session fee cover?

your session fee Covers the time and talent of the photographer, Deb Muir, along with exclusive use to props, outfits, maternity dresses.

 

How long will each newborn session take?

- Your newborn session will take between 1.5-3 hours, depending on baby as each baby is an individual and will adjust to each pose differently, with some not even liking some poses, no baby is forced into any position, each baby is aloud to adjust and be comfortable and safe in each pose, this includes family images, up to two prop poses styled to suite you, sibling poses if baby has a sibling, as well as the beanbag poses.

How come family session are a max of 6 people?

family sessions are limited to 6 people in the session as things can become a little hectic with more people and session will take longer, the typical family session will take around one hour to complete. We need to limit the session to one typical family being Mum and dad and up to 4 kids, we do give a leeway if you have more children so please ask.

When is the best time to book for my maternity session?

the best time to book for your maternity will be to have images taken when you are between 34-38 weeks with one baby and 32-36 weeks with twins, please book ahead so we can plan your shoot.

When is the best time to book for my newborn session?

the best time to book for newborn is when you are pregnant and comfortable for booking, most people book in after their 18 week scan so there is time to plan what props and colours and styles they are after. Newborns are best photographed in their first two weeks of life so please let me know when baby is born and I will give you a date for your session, which will occur at 930-10am.

What do I wear for my session for newborns photo?

Something comfortable, colour wise please keep simple and plain, i will send you a what to wear guide before your session along with a what to expect from my session information.

Can my family come to my maternity session?

yes, of course they can and they are encouraged to come along and be in the photos with you and your growing baby

the studio is in Bowen Mountain, through North Richmond off Grose Vale road in the lovely Hawkesbury area.
